Haryana Police questions Gurgaon school staffers in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 13 (IANS): A two-member team of the Haryana Police on Tuesday questioned a few staffers at Ryan International School's Kandivali headquarters here in the wake of the murder of a seven-year-old boy in its Gurugram branch.

The team visited the school premises in a quiet residential locality and questioned the staffers, mostly administrative, and examined some documents. A Mumbai police security vehicle, some parents and media persons were present there till late in the evening.

Haryana Police's visit here comes in the wake of the murder of seven-year-old Pradhuman Thakur on September 8 at Ryan International School in Bhondsi area near Haryana's Gurugram city.

In a related development, hundreds of parents on Tuesday morning staged vociferous protests outside Ryan International School in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, and demanded steps to ensure safety and security of their children studying there.

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday adjourned to Wednesday morning the hearing of the Pintos' plea for anticipatory transit bail to visit Haryana to move a court there.

Barring the Pinto family, the names, whereabouts or eligibility of other members of the trust -- that manages a majority of the group's schools -- remains unclear.

The trust was registered as a public charitable body in Maharashtra in the early 1980s.

The way Haryana police has swung into action in this incident, looks like Haryana is a Zero Crime State, they were in Mumbai within a day.
The same police force, a few days ago was unaware that their state would be torched by the bhakts of some Rapist baba even after the had all the information, the same police force had no evidence from multiple CCTVs when a lonely girl was assaulted by a politicians son.
This is nothing but a conspiracy against the family and their institutions and in this an innocent life has been lost.
The Lord will give justice to the Pinto family and they will continue to contribute to the society and the nation in the field of education.
The Lord is with them,as they put their trust in him

First of all to avoid something like this to happen in future. Students (Kids) should have different toilets from the adults. Because it doesn't sound right to me at the first place that the adults are using the same toilets in the schools. Outside we parents are with our kids but in places like schools who's with them. So paedophiles like this conductor can do anything and take advantage of situations like this. Just a thought
