Mangaluru: Chote Mijar all set to star in Tamil film

Mangaluru, Aug 29: One of the top comedians of Coastalwood, Umesh Mijar, popularly known as Chote Mijar is all set to star in a Tamil film.

Chote Mijar will be seen reprising his role in the Kannada and Tamil remake of Tulu film ‘Dhaniklena Jokulu’. He has started shooting for his portions in the remakes.

Mijar is a known name in Dakshina Kannada and has a huge fan following. He has acted in 22 Tulu films and featuring in prominent and comedy roles.

He will also be making his debut as a lead actor in Tulu films with ‘Umil’.

    I liked his comdey than anyone else in Bale Telipaale show. He is a natural comedian, body language & his voice a great support for him.
    Very good actor, he deserves it..
    I just watch only his comedy shows again & again from Youtube.
