Mangaluru, Jul 30: Adding to the ever-growing educational sphere of the city, Inventio Advanced Academy, a unit of AAAC Educational Foundation, was inauguated at Golden Arcade opposite Empire Mall here on Saturday July 29.
The Academy, which offers integrated courses based on advertising, animation, game development and VFX with 2D and 3D, was inaugurated by mayor Kavita Sanil and other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Kavita Sanil said, "Introduction of such technical courses in Mangaluru is a great achievement and will help youngsters. There are no such facilities in the entire Mangaluru and it is commendable that Inventio Academy has introduced them."
Chairman of Expert PU College Prof Narendra Nayak said, "This is one of the best soft skills programmes for youngsters in the age group of 15 and above. Soft skills are useful lifelong and they should be learnt during childhood. Students can learn this type of soft skills during their free time. This will help them gain confidence and open job opportunities. I congratulate Naushad and team for introducing such an Academy in Mangaluru. This Academy will definitely be one of the assets to people here."
Director Eeksaurus Mumbai Suresh Eriyat said, "During our times, there was no such institution but Inventio Academy is offering you courses in animation, advertising, gaming 2D and 3D under one roof. If someone aspires to take this up as a profession then such institutions need to come up in order to nurture each and every student in this field."
Earlier, general secretary of youth Congress Suhail Kandak inaugurated a cycle rally associated with Mangalore Bicycle Club.
The inaugural was followed by a session on 'Ad vision - Changing landscapes in video advertising and VFX'.
DCP (Rtd) G A Bawa, national council member JD(S) Hyder Parthipaady, chairman Dr K A Yakoob, managing director Naushad Kaikamba, principal Srinivas Pejathaya and others were present.
