Mangaluru: NIA likely to take up Sharath Madiwala murder case

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jul 22: As per information received, the union government is preparing to hand over murder case of Sharath Madiwala from B C Road, a Rashtriya Swayamsevk Sangh activist, to National Investigation Agency (NIA). In all likelihood, the order will come out within two to three days, and Kochi unit of NIA might be entrusted with this investigation.

Recently, MPs Shobha Karandlaje and Nalin Kumar Kateel, had met union home minister, Rajnath Singh, and sought NIA probe into this murder. It is said that the central government has taken serious view of Hindu youngsters being slain in coastal Karnataka, and decided therefore to entrust this case to NIA. NIA is learnt to be having the powers to take up investigation on its own without the recommendation of the state government and it has investigated such cases in the past.

Union minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that as per the current indications, there is a bright chance of this case being handed over to NIA.

BJP leaders have expressed suspicion that murders taking place in Dakshina Kannada and incidents of inciting of communal violence here are the handiwork of forces connected with terrorist activities. The party leaders had urged the central government to investigate this link. As NIA does not have a branch in the city, in all likelihood, Kochi unit will take over this investigation. Kochi unit of NIA had undertaken investigation into terrorist activities here in the past.

Sharath, who was attacked by motor bike-borne people on July 4 when he was closing his laundry at night, had died in a private hospital in the city on July 6. Although top police officers including director general of police Rupak Kumar Dutta and additional director general of police Alok Mohan had visited the town and formed six teams to investigate the murder, no breakthrough has been achieved so far.

Swamiji (and many others) already provided sufficient evidences to state police and police is busy acting (erasing) all those evidences based on the instruction of Karnataka Home ministry (Nidderama still keeping this portfolio with him).

If you have any evidence, please don't give to directionless police, but to give them to NIA, you will find some ray of hope to catch the murderers.

A spate of terrorist attacks, targeted at Muslims in India, had taken place during 2006-2007. These included the Malegaon blast of 2006, the Mecca Masjid blast in Hyderabad in 2007 and the Samjhauta Express blast in 2007. The names of organisations such as the Rashtriya Jagran Manch, Sharda Sarvagya Peeth, Hindu Rashtra Sena and Abhinav Bharat had come up during investigations and some of the people linked to these organisations were arrested. There were several common accused in these cases of terrorism and the BJP and the Shiv Sena had charged the investigating agencies of having political motives behind the arrests.
Reports have now emerged that the cases, where the accused are Hindu extremists or belonged to the organisations close to the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, have been considerably weakened with key witnesses turning hostile. The spate of U-turns by witnesses in these cases in recent months has led to speculation that these were linked to the shift of power at the centre in May 2014.
The NIA under the BJP-led regime seems reluctant to proceed with the cases where the role of Hindu terror networks has come to the fore.
The Modi government is playing a dangerous game by politicising the NIA, a premier national agency which investigates terror. The BJP is trying to suggest that the NIA under the Congress was biased so it has to be corrected now. This is absurd because the NIA had upturned the findings of the Maharashtra ATS, which was also under the Congress-NCP regime. Indeed, if investigations were being rigged how did NIA and Maharashtra ATS, under the same regime, came to opposite conclusions?
First key witness statement in blasts case go missing from NIA court.Coming in the wake of Special Public Prosecutor Rohini Salian's statement that NIA officers were putting pressure.
Now the BJP in Karnataka in the eve elections to the assembly is politicizing Sharath murder case. using NIA which give 'clean chit' to saffron terror.

NIA, CBI and all the rest are caged parrots. Thier investigating report is already complete and ready even before investigation has started, in fact this whole drama from the beginning has been scripted. This is only a formality and an eye wash for general public and a weapon to whomsoever to be targeted and avenge ultimately for vote bank. If you want genuinely pursue this case then arrest Dr Kalladka Prabhkar Bhat and hand over the case to SC. Let the truth come out and show you are real patriotic national with 56" chest. If not you are chest less.

    Murder is wrong.

Murder of an individual is wrong.

Murder of a community is wrong.

EVERY b**ody person is Human. And the only certainty is death.

Then why can we not stop hating and hacking and raping and burning ?

It is true, life is short - how much better if we just learnt to love and forgive a little more, every day , just a little.

This case has been given to NIA by alleging that Dakshina Kannada is filled with terrorists, It's happening after Yaseen Bhatkal stayed in Mangalore and it's happening after congress took the office etc.,
I hope all have seen the list of dead persons prepared by Shobha by twisting the facts. All this happening because of accusations made on a hate monger in kalladka.
The target is to bring down the Congress govt and to establish theirs.
Now the worry is, innocents getting framed.
