Mangaluru: Bhushan Borase transferred, Sudheer Kumar Reddy is new SP of DK

Mangaluru, Jun 21: Amid clashes in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada, superintendent of police (SP) Bhushan Gulabrao Borase has been transferred.

The order was passed by the state government on Wednesday June 21.

Borase has been transferred to Bengaluru as DCP (administration).

Sudheer Kumar Reddy, presently the SP of Chikkabalapur, has been appointed new SP of Dakshina Kannada.

Reddy, an IPS officer of the 2010 batch, is a BTech graduate from Pondicherry Engineering College, and native of Narsaraopet in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. He served as additional superintendent of police in Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district, and later as SP of Bidar district.

Bhushan Gulabrao Borase came to Dakshina Kannada as SP in May 2016.

    why transfer within 2 months. Police also should have minimum tenure of 2/ 3 years in a place.

    This is what happens in our region when Police try to implement law and order at any cost!!! This is the best known phenomena in our region.... you want transfer order.... then try to implement the law & order very strictly!!!

    The situation here in D.Kannada is worsening day by day. So it would have been better that Annamalai SP posted to Mangalore to set right the problems.

    Any police officer comes to DK as SP situation won't change. Borase should continued as he worked only one year. Problem in Kslladka and Vital only. If government give full hand to deal these type of unwanted things a sub inspector can deal. Here biggest problem between to political parties and thier supported organizations. IGP should wake up now tp deal these antisocial elements immediately. How peaceful we live in Shirva. Christian growes Jasmine, Muslim selling and Hindu using thier functions and for Temples.
