Mangaluru, Jun 20: District BJP yuva morcha staged a protest opposite at the DC office here on Monday, June 19, against District in charge minister Ramanath Rai for inflamatory remarks against RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat for the recent clashes in Kalladka
Addressing the protestors BJP Yuva morcha district president Harish Poonja said, "We strongly condemn the act by the district in charge minister Ramanath Rai for his inflammatory remarks against RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and reportedly asking the district superintendent of police Bhushan Borase to arrest him for the recent clashes in Kalladka.
"Ramanath Rai is active in the political arena from past several years and this act has saddened the people of the district and hurt the sentiments of Hindu community. Ramanath Rai is afraid of loosing in forthcoming elections and for the purpose of vote bank Rai instigated Kalladka clash. Ramanath Rai ordered superintendent of police Bhushan Borase to arrest Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and book under section 306 and also pressurised police for resignation. Rai is suited to show his power only in his Bantwal constituency and with sincere policemen, he will soon pay for his remarks and is suitable to doze. We demand you to apologize for your inflamatory remarks against Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat or in coming days voters will definately expell you from the district," he warned.
Member of Hindu Dharma Jagarna Samithi Murlikrishna said, "Being a minister you should maintain peace and harmony in the district instead you instigated Kalladka clash for the purpose of vote bank. You thought of bringing a downfall of the Hindu community by your tactics and ordered superintendent of police to file section 306 against Kalladka Prabhkar Bhat, you should be ashamed for passing such inflamatory remarks against who is known to build Hindu community and burgeoning Hindu culture all over. It is better for you to resign for the post or else government should sack you from the ministership. Rai is not courageous enough to speak against Muslim leaders but is always thought to bring downfall of Hindu community. Today cow is illegally transported to Kerala and also witnessed cow slaughter but you opted to be mute spectators on this issue. Several youths are being converted to Muslim community and forced to follow their ideologies but so far no voice has been raised. You should apologize for your controversial remarks."
