Mumbai: Bharath Bank shareholder storms meeting with activists, expelled

Mumbai, Jun 19: In an unpleasant incident, a shareholder was expelled from Bharath Bank after he stormed into the general meeting with activits.

R R Pandyan, a shareholder of Bharath Bank, urging to table his stand had brought activists to the meeting. Police stopped the activists and allowed only Pandyan to attend the meeting.

As Pandyan had tried damaging the reputation of the bank, C R Mulki, the executive president, tabled a proposal to cancel the name of Pandyan as a shareholder. He also provided details of criminal cases and such other incidents involving Pandyan.


    








































Soon, majority of the members urged orally and through ballot papers to cancel the membership of Pandyan.

As the results were out, Pandyan walked out from the meeting. The meeting continued after his exit.
