Mangaluru: Giant tree falls on transformer shed, no casualty

Mangaluru, May 19: Due to heavy rains experienced in the city since last night, a giant tree fell on a transformer shed near Bejai Museum on the early morning of Monday, May 19.

The transformer shed belonging to an apartment complex has been damaged. Three electric poles too have been affected.

Local corporator Lancelot Pinto said that the tree will be cut and removed from the place soon.

People in the locality said they were happy that there was no casualty.
