Udupi: Syndicate Bank assistant manager ends life days before wedding

Udupi, May 15: The assistant manager of Syndicate Bank head office in Manipal allegedly committed suicide on Monday May 15 near Indrali railway godown here, just days before his wedding.

Appachi Ajay (26) ended his life by coming under a moving train at Indrali railway track.

Ajay hailed from Kareemnagar in Andhra Pradesh and as assistant manager of Syndicate Bank head office in Manipal, he was staying in the Bank's quarters here.

His wedding was scheduled to be held on May 20 and he was supposed to return to his hometown for the nuptial ceremony on May 18.

His sudden decision to end his life even as he was preparing to go home for the wedding has left everyone perplexed. The reason behind taking the extreme step is not yet known.

Udupi town police have registered a case.

    Nowadays marriage has became expensive...
    Why waste the hard eard money of 5 6 years spent on 1 day of marriage..

    Every one will forget the event. after that.

    This applies to both boy and girls side.

    If a girl is born in India parents are not happy...no need to explain on this statement..

    Always the Least expense marriage has a good blessing from the Creator of heavens and earth.

    Its understandable when people of lower strata with less education and students under results stress taking extreme step. An Asst. Bank Manager ? That too prior to already set marriage ?

    Our youth seriously require counseling to let out the built up stress or be able to explain whats troubling them.

    There is no 'undo' once your precious life ends. RIP
