Udupi, May 1: Working president of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade, Doddaiah Anekal, questioned the locus standi of Muralidhar Rao, who is in-charge of Karnataka BJP affairs, in speaking about the Brigade. He wanted to know whether Rao and other BJP leaders are ready to step out of different organizations with which they have been associated.

He was addressing a press conference here on Sunday April 30.

"On the basis of which authority conferred on him is Rao saying that Rayanna Brigade is not needed? Muralidhar Rao, who belongs to Andhra Pradesh, is associated with over 25 organizations. Is he leaving these organizations now?", Doddaiah Anekal quipped.

He reiterated that no one has the right to say whether Rayanna Brigade should go on or be closed down. "No one can bring pressure on us. Eshwarappa has not been given any responsibilities in the Brigade. He is only our guest and guide who comes when invited. Even without him the Brigade will move on. We do not need any politics for our functioning," he stated.

At the same time, Doddaiah expressed the opinion that it should lbe left to individuals to decide about joining any organizations or outfits and that parties should not interfere with them.

Doddaiah said that his organization is apolitical in nature that it is run by the objective of working for the interests of backward classes and dalits. He said that his organization will raise its voice for the downtrodden people and hold cultural and social programmes for funding the programme to extending financial assistance to poor students. Doddaiah said that the Brigade has people from all political parties and that it will soon extend financial assistance to 10,000 students with highest marks in second PU examination at the rate of two students for every college. He also said that presidents and vice presidents of all the district units including that of Udupi would be announced soon.

Brigade organizational secretary,Anand Seth, Prdeep Mallur, Chetan Vithalkar, state vice president, Mahesh Poojary, and others were present.

Pumpwell brigade, Rayanna brigade, Yogi Hindu Yuva vahini brigade, animal rights brigade in Modi's India these brigades exceeded more than 'Chambal' dacoits.

It is better to dislodge all the law enforcement department and save the taxpayers money. When country is ruled by these saffron clad slogan shouting in the name of God why do we need police force?

Is India is heading Pakistan way of anarchy or mexico or Italian mafia? Are all these brigades are registered with 'Ministry of Home affairs'? Do they have licence to operate from the ministry? When the Home affairs see NGO in doubt, how does these 'brigades' get clearance?

Rayanna Brigade according to the organisation is not an affiliate of the BJP/RSS. Rayanna Brigade is primarily the organisation of his caste group. The right to form associations is a Constitutional Right and Eshwarappa has that right even if he is in BJP. Why this noise then? How does this organisation affect Yeddy?

If Rayanna Brigade's objective of working for the interests of backward classes and dalits, it is opposition party to JP and Sanghi's! BJP and Sanghi's are filled with gov Rakshaks and decision makers of peoples food habits, what they should eat and what not!!
Pity, several people are desperate to earn a career, power and quick money picking any sensitive issue, make heavy weather out of it! Irony is there are enough people to go behind these agendas hoping to get some share of revenue generated!
