Honnavar, Mar 28: “More than 50 persons from 20 families will come back to their original religion. They had joined other religions for different reasons. We are holding a ceremony to induct them back into our religion on April 23,” said Rama Sene Founder Prasad Attavar here on Monday, March 27.
“All the procedures to welcome these people back to their original religion will be followed as per the religious customs as well as legal guidelines. Many seers are going to participate. We request the cooperation from all Hindu organisations,” Prasad added.
“This is a district level programme. We will hold more such programmes in Mandya, Mysuru, Chitradurga and Udupi districts. These programmes will enable, all the people who joined other religions for different reasons including Love Jihad, to come back home. We will also provide them with sufficient help for planning their future.” Prasad concluded.
