Modi likes 'peeping into bathrooms', Google searching: Rahul

Lucknow, Feb 11 (IANS): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday ridiculed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for "peeping into others' bathrooms" and said he was a complete failure at the job.

"The Prime Minister is fond of Google searching, peeping into others' bathrooms. Let him do that in his free time but his main job is that of a Prime Minister in which he has been a cent per cent failure," Gandhi said while addressing a joint press conference here with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Gandhi's jibe come a day after Modi, while campaigning in the poll bound state, mocked the Congress leader for being the "most joked about politician".

The Prime Minister had earlier attracted the wrath of the Congress over his "bathing wearing a raincoat" barb at his predecessor Manmohan Singh.

"The country's biggest problem is lack of jobs. Modi promised two crore jobs but has not fulfilled even one per cent of his promise. Modi talks a lot about security, terrorism and surgical strikes."

"But the result is we have suffered most number of casualties in the last seven years. Over 90 of our security personnel have been killed," said Gandhi while referring to the Indian Army's September 29 surgical strikes on terror launch pads in Pakistan occupied territory.

"The Prime Minister is apprehensive of Uttar Pradesh polls result. The result will give him a big shock, will put a question mark on his credibility. That is why he is saying such things," he added.

For such a large democratic nation PM stooping to so low is does not suit to his credibility.

'It is not necessary to react to everything PM Modi and BJP says'. Rahul Gandhi’s penchant for taking on Modi on every issue, does not suit as well.

Past experience tells us it is not often that former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh speaks. As a former RBI Governor, finance minister and two-time Prime Minister, the renowned economist’s views should have been a matter of keen interest on the issue of demonetisation.

A confident former prime minister said that it has been his general practice not to respond to motivated criticism directed personally at him.

"It has been my general practice not to respond to motivated criticism directed personally at me. My general attitude has been Hazaaron Jawabon Se Acchi Hai Meri Khamoshi, Na Jaane Kitne Sawaalon Ki Aabru Rakhe."

This is the smart answer one can expect from world's highest educated Prime Minister. Rahul Gandhi need to learn from more former PM Manmohan Singh and use is maturity more wisely to reply without falling to sloggering.

It is sad to see the grace & honor of Hindustan's PM post never been come so low...., all these are probably caused due to social media trolls...., Hindustan's PM become a laughing subject across the universe...., time for Bhakt's must introspect & their trolling attitude...,

One must respect, value & honor wisdom..., in my opinion which is seemingly lack in our present PM's politically biased statements unlike master class & highly educated unparallel & uncomparable Honorable Ex PM of Hindustan Dr MMS....,

THE WORD "PEEPING" IS OUT OF CONTEXT AND IT HAS COME FROM RAHUL MEANS IT SHOWS HOW MATURED HE IS. BATHROOMS NEED NOT BE PRECEEDED BY THE WORD PEEPING AND MODI HAS NOT USED THE WORD ANYWHERE BUT CLEVERLY MADE PAPPU AWKWARD.

Modi discredited Dr. MMS, based on allegations. He is not able to prove one wrong to date asPM. Modi failed miserably. All the 2G,3G, Coal, CWG is dead now. Those who made big noise now are enjoying the benefits for their loyalty to BJP over the country. With such a massive failure, Modi lost every credibility he was riding on and nobody can trust him. If he was principled, he should have resigned voluantarily. Anyway that is BJP, one seen all the drama's with Reddy and Yeddy palayam.

Pappu should change his attitude and accept that congress was big time failure during UPA 2. Otherwise why did Anna Hazare go for fast? He did some tamasha ?

PMs response was very big due for corruption hit congress.

it seems you are not aware or pretending as if you dont know anything. for your kind info, anna hazare was the puppet used by bjp and partners to destabilize MMS govt. to get to the top post. He executed his part and the people utilized his service have cornered him. he must be repenting for his act for making the inexperienced people get into power. for that not only him but the whole country is suffering.
