Aug 16: The huge success and reception of the recently launched Innova Crysta has lead Toyota Kirloskar to launch the leading MPV in its petrol variant as well. This is a landmark move by the auto manufacturer as the Innova Crysta Petrol is the only vehicle in its segment.

The car is empowered with a 2.7L dual VVT-I petrol engine capable of producing a power of 166 PS with a torque of 245 Nm. The vehicle is available in both automatic as well as in manual transmission mode, all of which ensure reduced vibration and smoother acceleration.

The petrol variant of the Innova Crysta has been competitively priced at INR 13, 72,800, with the ex-showroom price of INR 19, 62,300. Bookings and delivery of the same would be in effect from today. The Innova Crysta has been designed to cater to both the robustness and the aesthetics needs of the customers. Being a perfect mix of luxury and capacity, the car has been designed and manufactured to give it a sport utility touch along with well-researched features. It’s a landmark and a benchmark for other auto makers in terms of touch, yet elegant, exteriors, sophisticated interiors, powerful and robust engine and a comfortable cabin.

This is not the first time when Toyota marked themselves as ‘segment’ creators. By being the first in the segment to provide the petrol variant of the sport utility vehicle, Toyota has proved that they are fear ahead in terms of understanding customer needs and catering to them. Prior to this, the Innova Crysta has always amassed sales numbers of 24000 units in a short span of 2 months.
