There was an era of family oriented Tulu dramas during 70s and 80s. Then came a trend of 100% Comedy dramas. People liked this change.

Nowadays a Tulu film is made, adding up 2-3 comedy dramas with a new tittle. Looking at the present Tulu film castings, we could find only few names like, Kapikad, Padil, Vamanjoor, Bolar etc.etc. Same faces and same type of roles for these artists in all films. People are fed-up with these faces.

    This trend should be changed.
The directors should search for new faces. There are many talented artist waiting for an opportunity. Encourage them. Then only our Tulu film industry will progress.
