St Vincent Pallotti Church celebrates Monthi feast

Mumbai, Sep 17: The harvest festival was celebrated on September 14 at St Vincent Pallotti Church, Vijay Nagar, Marol, Andheri (E).

Fr Charles Fernandes, the parish priest said the prayers and all the parishioners joined the procession for the new harvest meal which was organized in the church hall.

                                                           
 
There were more than 500 people who attended the ceremony although it was a short announcement. There were cultural activities, dance and song performances. Kenny and Soccurine were entertainers for the show. Joy Paladka and Joy Crasta, president of St Joseph Konkani Welfare Association, Mira Road along with their team extended tremendous support, as this was the first time the new harvest meal celebration was held at St Vincent Pallotti Church.

The food was highly appreciated by everyone and was catered by McRonnie’s. Every parishioner joined in serving as they felt it was a community gathering at Vincent Pallotti Church. People who missed out, later in the evening complimented the entire team and organizers of this new harvest meal and said as this was a grand success and the Pallottines look forward for the celebration next year.

The main event co-ordinator, Eugene D'souza and Ronnie Goveas with the support of Fr Charles, parish priest and parish council members contributed in spreading the news and motivated people to come forward for this new harvest meal.
