Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait celebrates Monthi Fest

Kuwait, Sep 16: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait (KWAK) celebrated the feast of Nativity on Friday, September 12 at Salmiya Play School, Rumaithia, Kuwait.

The program commenced at 12 noon with KWAK President Mr. Antony Miranda welcoming the gathering.

The program was pleasantly conducted by Melwyn Mascarenhas.

A prayer led by Deepak Martis, Edward Dsouza, Rinitha Mascarenhas and Antony Miranda started the proceedings in a traditional way. Children and adults offered flowers to Mother Mary whilst singing the hymns 'Sakkad Sangatha Melliyan'. And Moriak Hogolsiyan,

Skit and jokes were organized by KWAK. Participated by, Lionel Mascarenhas, Ajekar, Victor Saldahna, and Satish Saldanha Kateel.

Children games and adults games were Conducted by Melwyn Mascarenahas, Steve Rodrigus and Edward Dsouza,

Visiting guests Mrs. Juliana Dsouza (Church A Ward), Mrs. Ewllyn Rebello, (Lourdes Ward), Mrs Pramila Anil Mendonca (Lourdes Ward), Mrs Reeda Saldanha (Elial), Agness Sequira, (Lourdes Ward), Mrs Pramila Britto (Palli), were felicitated.

The food was prepared by KWAK members, with a special vegetarian menu which is symbolic to the new harvest of coastal Karnataka. 21 vegetable items served gathering people. This time more than hundred and twenty Kanajareans and their friends, relatives gathered.

All in all, it was a memorable day filled with fun & frolic.
