Puttur: No power, no holidays for ASI post

Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur

Puttur, Jul 12: Police officials who hold the assistant sub inspector post do not have any power. Adding to that, they do not have a weekly off either.

The police constables and head constables do get a weekly off. But if the head constable gets promoted for the ASI post, then he will be exempted from taking weekly off.

As per the police terms, ASI means assistant sub inspector but in fact they do not enjoy any power as per their designation.

Police officials who hold the ASI post do not mind if they do not have any power but it would be better if they were granted with weekly off.
