Jiah Khan laid to rest


Mumbai, Jun 5 (IANS): Actress Jiah Khan, who committed suicide by hanging herself at her Juhu residence, was Wednesday laid to rest at Santa Cruz graveyard here.

While Jiah's sister and her mother were inconsolable, her boyfriend, Suraj Pancholi, who came to bid her a final farewell, was in tears too.

Celebrities like Riteish Deshmukh, Kiran Rao, Siddartha Mallya, Sophie Chaudhary, Urvashi Dholakia, and Prem Chopra came to her residence to pay their final respects.

The Britain-born actress was found hanging at her flat in Sagar Sangeet building in the posh Juhu area of northwest Mumbai Monday midnight.

She used to live their with her mother and sister who were not at home when she ended her life.

Tuesday night actor Aamir Khan, who worked with Jiah in "Ghajini", visited her residence around 11.30 p.m. and met her mother.

    sad and upset.this generation gets depressed very fast and r not ready to struggle. do think about ur parents before taking extreme step.she is gone but wat about mother left behind..... sad.think before u leap.the whole life goes in bringing up a child.her mother also must have faced a lot of problems in bringing her up and at times must have got frustrated also but she struggled and every human on this earth has to struggle for something or the other but all don't take this step.so just a small request to the youngsters..its not only ur life u think about.there r many lives attached with urs so u have the courage to end up ur life and run away from ur problems leaving behind ur loved ones who can't end up their life and can't live without u.don't be so selfish....life is like ecg...ups and down face it don't run away from them.
