Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Apr 11: With the arrest of Prashant alias Pachchu (27) on Wednesday April 10 in the murder case relating to Girish Putran from Hoige Bazaar in the city, the police claim they have succeeded in nabbing all the people involved with the killing.

Prashant, Natasha and Rajesh

The police had recovered two gold chains belonging to Girish from Rajesh, a bracelet from Natasha,  and one of the two finger rings from Prashant, who reportedly has sold the other ring to an unidentified person in the local railway station. The Hyundai Eon car, as well as the knife used for the murder have also been recovered.

Girish (50), a trader in fish at Bunder area in the city was murdered on December 22, 2012, and his body bearing 73 stab marks, was found from Moorukody in Permude village near Bajpe the next day. It is said that a love triangle between Rajesh, Natasha, and Girish, led to the murder.

Girish was reportedly killed in a moving car by strangulating and then stabbing him repeatedly. After robbing gold ornaments on his body, the accused had thrown the body, before tossing away Girish’s cell phone near Bantwal. Girish’s clothes were burnt down at Beltangady thereafter, to erase all traces of murder.

The personnel of Bajpe police station made the above arrest from Shivbaug in the city. Prashant was produced in a court here. Bajpe inspector, Dinakar Shetty and other personnel made the arrest. Prashant is said to be an employee of Mescom, and the friend of Natasha, another accused in the case. Prashant reportedly drove the car that was used at the time of murdering Putran.

Natasha and Rajesh from Kodikal, were arrested on February 9 this year, whereas main accused, Ritesh (28) from Malemar here, was taken into custody on March 31.

I totally disagree with you, first place why our children go astray because there is no parental control , bad bringing up, no correction at home, and bad company, if you read the Holy Bible John chapter 8 10 to 11 what it says is w straightened himself and said to her ,Where are they?, is there any one to condemn you?, no one sir she answered , well then Jesus said I dont condemn you either , Go and but do not sin again

I think they involved many criminal activities. Police must dig all the angles.

Their face looks like dangerous criminals.

Pls. put them behind the bars at least for 40-80 years.

Otherwise they will kill own parents and children for money.

There is a growing trend among women and girls to exploit and quick buck with scant regard to law and family values. Infact the malls and fast foods are haunted by these youngsters even on school uniform ! Such elements get trapped by anti socials and this is the result. The lady in the pictured here sure is such an example. Parents beware of such incidents. Moral policing will not help.

Very disturbing to see such young people involved in total unwanted activities. Parental guidance, care and help is required for our children. Parents please take extra care.

O my god women r also taking part in murder. Un believable. If she is in need of money she could have sold her own body. Or she could have become a prostitute.

The root cause for the murder seems to be purely for a woman.

Very sad, people take life for a rotten woman while our country's female population outnumbers the men. Then where is the dearth of girls? If X is missed out from your possession, look for Y or Z and so on.

Now you pay the price for your heinous action in the jail.
