Kundapur: Scouts-Guides Training Camp at Gangolli

Kundapur, Dec 1: The Scouts-Guides leaders training camp was held at Kharvikere Konchady Radha Shenoy government higher primary School in Gangolli on Friday November 30.

The training camp was jointly organized by the Bharath Scouts-Guides, Kundapur and by Kharvikere Konchady Radha Shenoy government higher primary School.

Gunaratna, president of Bharath Scouts-Guides, Kundapur presided while Sakamma, president of Gangolli gram panchayat inaugurated the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Gunaratna said that scouts and guides will have a good impact in a student’s life. The students who acquire knowledge through this training camp should also implement it in their personal life.

"To be a good, respectful citizen in the society, scout and guides will help us", he said.

KS Manjunath welcomed the gathering; Nagaraj Shetty compered while Anand Poojary compered the programme.

B Raghavendra Pai, member of Gangolli gram panchayat; K R Nayak, vice president of local organization; Dinakar Patel, Sujatha K, headmistress; Anand Adiga, commissioner of scouts and Guides; P Narasimha Moorthy, secretary of Byndoor zone; Nagaraj Kharvi, president of school development and administration committee; Venkatesh Kotian, director of Konkan Kharvi Samaj; Mohandas Kanoji, Rajesh among others were present.
