Mumbai: Kannada, Tulu Litterateur Dr Sunita Shetty Bags ‘Jayadevitai Legade Award’

Mumbai, Jun 18: Dr Sunita M Shetty, veteran Kannada and Tulu litterateur, bagged the state-level ‘Jayadevitai Legade Woman Award’, instituted by metro-based Vidhadar Kannada Pratistan.

Dr Shetty qualified for the Award owing to her literary contributions, for being a critic, researcher, and education expert in the metro.

The Award will be conferred during the birth centenary celebrations of Jayadevitai Legade scheduled to be held on Saturday June 23.  Dr Patila Puttappa will preside over the programme that was organized jointly by metro-based Mumbelaku Kannada Balaga and Vidhyavardaka Sangh, Dharwad, stated the media release issued by Vidhyadar Kannada Pratistan.
