Mangalore : Change in Konkan Railway Schedule this Monsoon

Mangalore, Apr 2: Konkan Railway has announced a change in its regular schedule for the monsoon season this year. Effective June 10 to October 31, 2012, three major trains will have changed timings.

Mangalore Central - Lokamaya Tilak currently operating from Mangalore Central at 2.35 pm, will run from 12.50 pm.

Mangalore Junction - Mumbai CSR Express currently running at 2 pm will be changed to 4.45 pm.

Ernakulam - Nizamuddin Mangala Express will depart from Mangalore at 7.50 pm.

    THANKS DAIJI FOR PUBLISHING THIS USEFUL INFO. WE ALL COASTAL PEOPLE GRATEFUL TO MR. GEORGE FERNANDES (EARLIER RAILWAYS MINISTER) & LATE PROF. MADHU DANDAVATE (EARLIER FINANCE MINISTER) WHO WORKED VERY HARD TO GET KONKAN RAILWAYS AND LATE MR. T.A.PAI WHO PUT THIS KONKAN RAILWAY IDEAL MANY YEARS BEFORE (HE WAS RAILWAY MINISTER DURING LATE MRS. INDIRA GANDHI'S CABINET). WE REALLY MISSING THESE GREAT LEADERS.
