Udupi: Konkani movie ‘Allshi Redde’ premiered, receives great response from audience

Udupi, Sep 3: The premiere show of one of the most-awaited Konkani movies ‘Allshi Redde’ was held on Saturday September 3 in Bharath Cinemas here at Canara Mall, Manipal. Allshi Redde is a Konkani movie produced by Sparkle Productions.

Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, parish priest of Shankerpura church inaugurated the show by lighting the lamp. Sr Dorothy, Lester, Nithyanand, producer of ‘Shakalaka Boomboom’ an upcoming Tulu movie, Godwin Sparkle, producer, director & male lead and Hera Pinto, director & female lead, Prajoth D’Sa, background music composer and others were present.

The premiere show itself received good response from the audience. A large number of Konkani movie lovers watched the show.

Wishing success for the movie, Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves said, “Laughter is the best medicine. We need to laugh a bit every day. This movie has also been done on the same logic. Konkani is one of the oldest languages. It is a language which touches our hearts. Godwin, Hera and their team have done a great job with this movie. I wish them to come up with more such creative projects in the upcoming days also.”

The movie is produced by Sparkle Productions. ‘Allshi Redde’ is a comedy horror Konkani movie which will be released on September 9. Yatish Poojary and Rayan Magneto are the assistant directors.

Director Godwin Sparkle and Hera Pinto are also playing the lead in the movie, while Deepak Rai, William Pinto, Mervin Shirva, Sandeep Malani, Richard, Henly, Vishal, Sharan Shetty, Sampath Lobo, Sumana, Rayan Magneto, Ishant, Mahesh, Praneetha and others will be seen in prominent roles.

Patson Pereira has composed the music and William Pinto has penned the dialogues. Bollywood singers Kunal Ganjawala, Mohit Chauhan and Lavita Lobo have sung for the movie. The background score is composed by Prajoth D’Sa, SFX is handled by Loy Valentine.

The movie was shot across Udupi, Yedapadav in Mangaluru and Bengaluru.
