Mumbai, Apr 17 (India Today) : Bollywood siren Riya Sen was spotted wildly cheering for 'good friend' S. Sreesanth's Kochi Tuskers IPL team in Mumbai, adding fresh fuel to reports of their link- up once again.
Riya, who first met Sreesanth while shooting a commercial for a jewellery brand some time ago, has unofficially become the face of the IPL team which the Indian fast bowler represents. Apart from being spotted in Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium on Wednesday, she has also been seen partying hard with the Kochi boys, especially Sreesanth.

"Riya and Sreesanth seem quite friendly. They met during the shoot of a commercial and have stayed in touch with each other since then. Riya was at the stadium to cheer him. She sat throughout the match and was seen silently breaking into a prayer almost every time Sreesanth came to bowl. Unfortunately, Kochi lost the match," said a source at the stadium.
The loss, however, did not deter Riya from posing for a few quick photo- ops with the Kochi team, which the Bong Bombshell has chosen to support over Kolkata Knight Riders, the IPL team of her hometown Kolkata.
Riya subsequently posted a snapshot of hers with the Kochi staff on her Twitter account. Over the past few months, the buzz has been strong over Riya's closeness to Sreesanth. The fast bowler is known for his flamboyant lifestyle and sources say Riya is his latest interest. Riya was also spotted at several World Cup matches and managed to catch up with Sreesanth, who was part of the squad.
"Sreesanth is a flashy sort of a guy and his glamour makes girls go crazy, no matter how he fares on the field. After meeting him, Riya's interest in cricket has also grown. Earlier, she never followed cricket so keenly. It is no coincidence that she chose to support the Kochi team this year and has planned to watch as many matches of the team as she can. However, it would be too early to say they are in love. Riya is not very open about her personal life and avoids commenting on such issues," said the source.
This is not the first time Sreesanth has been linked with B-town beauties. In 2008, he took part in a dance reality show. His partner was TV actress Surveen Chawla and rumours suggested they were seeing each other then.
Later, his name was linked with Minissha Lamba. Minissha and Sreesanth met in a casino at Macau and were spotted hanging out together on several occasions. Soon afterwards, the buzz on Sreesanth was that he was dating Kannada star Sanjana. Since then his name has also been linked with Telugu star Lakshmi Rai.
