Brahmavar, Aug 18: “SMS College is organizing ‘Brahmavar Mega Job fair’ in association with Karnataka skill Development Corporation, on Saturday August 27 at the college campus here,” said Mahesh Kumar, lecturer, SMS College.
He was addressing a press meet organised at Udupi press club here Wednesday, August 17. He said, “The eligibility of a candidate is SSLC, PUC, B Com, BCA, BBA, BSW, BA, M Com and MSW. More than 2,000 job opportunities will be offered at the job fair. Reputed companies will participate in the selection process at the fair. More than 40 reputed companies are expected to be participating in this event. The companies are Muthoot Finance, Reliance, HDFC, Axis bank and others. We have invited 200 colleges to participate and 50 colleges have responded positively.
“The interested candidates can attend the interview directly at the venue and should come with photocopies of educational documents, passport size photos, Aadhaar card and individual details,” he said.
Prasanna Shetty, college principal, Veena Maria, Rodrigues, Nagesh Poojary and Prashanth Shetty were present.
The event will run from 9 am to 5 pm.
