Udupi, Aug 16: On the occasion of Independence day celebrations, the Canara Bank Manipal Circle, Central Treasury department had organized a freedom run on Monday, August 15.
The freedom run was kicked off at Canara Bank Circle office. Retired Air Force officer Capt Diwakar Devagigra flagged off the run, while Yogesh Achar, GM, Sathyanarayan Mini, Dharam Veer Singh, Gangadhar DGMs, Rajesh, Dr Ramchandra Kamath, Dr. Shivakumar and other officials, bank staff were present.
National Flag were distributed on the occasions. The ran started at Circle office manipal, then passed through Syndicate Circle, Coin Circle, MAHE Campus, MIT Bus Stand, tiger circle and ended at the Circle office. In the Freedom run all ages of people participated.
