Mangaluru, Aug 15: Infant Jesus Shrine Bikarnakatte, Mangaluru, celebrated the Independence Day with all enthusiasm.

Dr. Cyprian Montheiro PHd, KES, joint director of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikmagalur and Kodagu district, was the chief guest. In his message, he invited all youth to study well and add to the development of our nation. He invited parents to guide their children well so that they may not fall in to vices. He called the children to keep aside Mobile phones and read newspapers and get deep knowledge of the subject they study. He gave clarion call to all build our nation which is result of sacrifice of thousands of freedom fighters.
