'Veham' from 'Dobaaraa' speaks of illusion, questions senses


Mumbai, Aug 12 (IANS): 'Veham', a new song from the Taapsee Pannu-starrer, 'Dobaaraa' was released on Friday. The song has been composed by Gaurav Chatterji with lyrics by Hussain Haidry.

Gurugram-based Hip Hop artiste Fotty Seven has sung the song which is a catchy solid rap number that takes the listeners to the thrilling world of 'Dobaaraa'. The lyrical theme of the song talks about the illusion juxtaposed with footage from the film thereby leaving the listeners asking for more.

Dobaara's last song 'Waqt Ke Jungle' has garnered India's attention with its suspenseful tune.

Meanwhile, 'Dobaaraa' opened the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Melbourne on Friday. In addition, it has also travelled to fests such as London Film Festival & Fantasia Film Festival 2022.

The film, which also stars Pavail Gulati and Sukant Goel, has been directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Shobha Kapoor & Ektaa R Kapoor's Cult Movies and Sunir Kheterpal & Gaurav Bose of Athena. The film is set to release theatrically on August 19, 2022.
