Mangaluru, Aug 8: The eighth Day Novena prior to Feast of St Lawrence was held at Bondel Church on Monday, August 8. The theme of 8th Day was meditation of the word of God is the divine strength of the family life.

Fr Oswald Monteiro, parish priest, Kirem Church was the main celebrant, Fr Andrew Leo DSouza, Fr Lancy D’Souza, Fr Theo con-celebrated the mass.

Fr Oswald Monteiro called on the devotees of St Lawrence-Love God, Meditate on God’s word, Teach it, Live it. God will give you the strength to face all the difficulties and trouble in your life. When you read the Scripture every day, He will speak to you through the word that is necessary for that day. We read Gods Word, but we dont always think about the next steps to living it out in our lives.. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).  Let Jesus’s affirmation strengthen our faith in the power of intercessory prayer and the great gift he has given us in the Church and our own communities and families.

The Choir was from Simon Bajal & team. 5.30 pm mass celebrant Fr Abraham –Director Divine Call Centre, Mulky. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Fr Melwin Pinto concelebrated the mass. The choir for evening mass from Roshan Angelore & Team. Special prayers offered for all those who are working abroad.
