Udupi: Rotary Club Brahmavar bags 27 awards towards club activities under district 3182

Udupi, Aug 8: Rotary Club Brahmavar, district 3182 received 27 awards for the activities conducted during the year term. All the awards were distributed at 'Awards Night', organized by Rotary Clubs of Zone 10, at Shimoga on August 6 and 7.

The club bagged the first place in External Expansion, Rotary Information, Public relation and Public Image, family of Rotary, Vocational awards, R C C, rotary friendship exchange, the rotary foundation, Global Grants, Interact, best club under club service, best club under international service and best club under youth service.

Rotary Club, Brahmavar bagged second places in internal expansion, club finances, four way test, Rotaract, and the club also received the third position in My Rotary, fellowship, disease prevention and treatment, community and economic development, youth welfare, vanamahotsava, mass tree plantation, afforestation, best major project (Beneficiary), Best Club under Vocational service

During the term Harish Kunder served as president while Satish Shetty as secretary. Padmanab Kanchan served as assistant governor of Zone 3 during the year.

During the year the club have donated dialysis Unit to Heradi Baliga Hopsital, New club at Kokarne, hear aid kits to the dumb patients, training programmes for college students, high school students, blood donation, plantation, and since last 19 years the club has been conducting mental health campus as some of the main projects undertaken by the club during the year.
