Mangaluru: St Agnes Institutions organizes session for Staff on Life of Mother Mary Aloysia

Mangaluru, Aug 5: An educative session was organised on July 26 for the staff of St Agnes High School, St Agnes Higher Primary School, St Agnes CBSE school and St Agnes Preparatory School on the topic 'Life of Mother Mary Aloysia' which was conducted by Sr Dr Lydia Fernandes AC the joint secretary of St Agnes Institutions.

The session included the life journey of Mother Mary Aloysia who at the age of 17 years with her vision and her mission of woman empowerment took the path of achieving success and has been a motivator to all. The seven characteristics given by Mother Mary Aloysia were highlighted in this session. To name a few, handwriting, language spoken, office administration etc. The meticulous vision of giving the best with ‘Excelsior’ as her motto was well accepted and called upon to follow. Her pathway on setting up the colleges for woman and creating a recognition in the society to being a pioneer of Apostolic Carmel Educator was truly appreciated and well-presented through this session.

The programme was hosted by teacher Philomena, Sr Lenita lobo AC the vice-principal welcomed the gathering, teacher Keerthi Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all for the active contribution in making the session a success.

The management, the school administrator Sr Edna Furtado AC congratulated the principal for organising this session and helping teachers learn the life and virtues of Mother Mary Aloysia.
