Udupi, Jul 28: Workers of BJP are up against their own party after BJP leader Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death.

Youth wing worker of BJP are resigning en masse. In Bailakere ward alone more than 50 BJP workers have tendered their resignation. In a letter written to BJP district president Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak, the workers wrote, “We, the BJP workers of Malpe Bailakere in Udupi, are working for BJP with many responsibilities. We are sick of the continuous killings of Hindu workers. As we are unable to bear the pain, we are tendering group resignation through this letter. We have lost faith in your government which does not think about the safety of Hindu workers. This is our personal decision. Relieve us from the primary membership of the party.”

Vijayprakasha Bailakere, president of Tenkanidiyoor-Badanidiyoor Mahashakti Kendra, Sharath Kumar Bailakere, president, Arun Jathanna, vice president, Sathish R Poojary, ward president, Vikita Suresh, panchayat member, Sushanth Shetty, Uppoor Sunil Shetty, Santhosh Suvarna Bolje, president of city and rural morchas, chief secretaries have decided to come out of the primary membership of BJP Yuva Morcha.

The workers of BJP Yuva Morcha are confused as the presidents of BJP Yuva Morcha of Udupi district are silent and have not resigned. Hundreds of BJP members and youth workers have resigned opposing the helplessness of ruling BJP government in protecting their party workers.
