Mangaluru, Jul 28: “Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal urges the government to form a SIT under an upright superintendent of police to probe Praveen Nettaru murder case. We also want an NIA probe,” said Sunil K R, regional convenor, Karnataka South zone.

He said, “The case has to be probed as there is a conspiracy involved in the murder. The police department has failed to arrest the culprit even after 2 days of murder. We are deeply hurt by this incident. During the procession, police lathi-charged the representatives. We condemn the lathi-charge. We demand the home minister to suspend the police personnel who ordered the lathi-charge.

“Under the aegis of Bajrang Dal, condolence meet for Praveen will be held in every taluk centres.

“The police department have not revealed much about the probe, but we have received information about seven SDPI representatives being involved in the murder. After the murder of Masood, SDPI representatives had given a statement of retaliation,” he said.

Regional co-convenor Karnataka south Murli Krishna Hasanthadka, regional convenor Mangaluru zone Bujanga Kulal, District Bajrang Dal convenor Puneeth Attavar, and district Bajrang Dal convenor Puttur, Bharath Kumdel was present.
