Kundapur, Jul 7: Salpuda and Kudru area of Navunda villages in Byndoor are inundated due to nonstop heavy rain here during the last six days. The residents in those areas were shifted to safer places.
The house of Yogish Karanth at Navunda Kudru collapsed. Floods like situation was witnessed at Maravante, Badakere and other places.
Panchagangavali river are in spate and floods are seen in some places. Low lying areas are inundated. The meteorological department has already released a warning.
