Shivamogga, July 5: More than 40 sheep died while crossing a railway track as the train ran over them.

The tragic incident occurred on the railway tracks behind the petrol bunk opposite KSRTC bus station of Bhadravathi town.

The train was plying from Mysuru to Shivamogga via Bhadravathi. At around 5.30 PM on Monday, July 4, the train ran over the flock and killed 40 sheep instantly. Many other sheep were injured.
