Kaup: Anchored boat capsizes due to violent sea, breaks into pieces

Kaup, Jul 3: A fishing boat which was anchored at Malpe sea port got entagled in high waves of the sea and the debris reached as far as Kaipunjalu beach.

Fishing net, engine and all other materials along with the fishing boat got sunk into the sea. The parts of the boat were badly mangled and spread at Kaipunjalu Kempugudde.

The boat belonged to Rakesh and Yashwant and the loss is estimated to be Rs 15 lac.
