Udupi, Jul 2: Girija Healthcare & Surgicals Udupi, Kundapur and Mangaluru celebrated Doctor's Day by felicitating the doctors of the respective regions.

In Udupi the programme was organized in association with Senior Chamber International Udupi temple city legion. Dr Ravindranath, Dr Bhaskar Palan, Dr Ashok Kumar, Dr Ranjitha Nayak, Dr Marriettee Dsouza, Dr Deepa Nayak and Dr Sripathi M Shet were felicitated on the occasion for their selfless service.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Tallur Shivaram Shetty said, “We are afraid when we encounter some health issues. But a visit to the doctor heals all our fears. We need to have faith on doctors."

On receiving the felicitation Dr Ravindranath, senior orthopedics surgeon said, “I thank Ravi Shetty for this felicitation. We are not God, because even we make mistakes. We are humans too. We try to do good for everyone."
