Magaluru: Day-long event Nitte Creativity Fest on Jul 2

Mangaluru, Jun 30: Nitte Creativity Fest, a one-day event will be held on July 2 at the University Auditorium, Paneer Campus, Deralakatte.

This is the 1st edition of the Nitte Creativity Fest, a creative meet, where artists and creative individuals from different fields will share their creative and artistic vision.

This event strives to take the audience on an exciting journey, where the audience will get an insight into the creative process and will understand what it takes to be in the industry. The guest speakers include: Baadal Nanjundaswamy visual artiste, Akarsha Kamala - deputy manager, metro saga, Shashi Warrier - author and Dr Chandan Gowda who is a writer, academic and translator. There will be an art display as well by Santhosh Andrade and Kamil’s Art Gallery. A question & answer session, will be available after every session, where the audience can interact with the guest speakers.

The Creative Meet will be followed by exciting performances from Abhinav Grover - Yakshagana artiste, DOC [Department of Culture] an underground rap band, and Trisha Shetty, Bharatanatyam dancer.

Canara Bank is the associate sponsor for the Nitte Creativity Fest.

The event will be inaugurated on July 2 at 11 AM at the University Auditorium, by the chief guest Dr. Chandan Gowda and guest of honor, Prof Vinod Aranha (director, Nitte Institute of Architecture).

The event will be conducted by the final year MA [CORP-COM] students of Nitte Institute of Communication as part of their studies in Event Management.
