Panaji, Mar 19: The public spaces of Panjim went into a delightful transformation as a result of the International Lighting workshop held in the Capital city of Panaji.

Six internationally acclaimed lighting designers worked on six public spaces in Panaji on a unique illumination project. Organised for the first time, outside Europe, the 'Lights in Goa’ event was an attempt to showcase how professionally designed lighting installations can add value to urban spaces and transform them into pockets of social activity with revenue generating potentials.



The lighting designers hailing from US, UK, Finland, Hong Kong and Australia have worked with a team of professionals and students over the last few days to transform the public spaces in Panaji into a place of beauty and light.

The six lucky spaces in Panaji included to the likes of the famous Kala Academy jetty, Francisco Gomes Luis Gardens in Campal, Kala Academy promenade, Bhagwan Mahavir Garden, the Children’s park and the ESG building.
