Karkala: Gulabi Krishna Bhandary trust donates school uniforms to students

Karkala, Jun 27: Dr Shivarama K Bhandary, managing director of Shiva's Hair Designer Private Limited and founder of Gulabi Krishna Bhandary charitable trust was the chief guest in the parent teacher meeting on June 24 of St Lawrence school, Attur, Karkal where he had his school education.

School convener, parish priest of Attur church, Fr Alban D’ Souza who presided over the meeting said that the help extended to students is like the offering to the almighty. He felicitated Shivarama Bhandary and Manjunath Nayak Jodurasthe and blessed the donors.

Meanwhile the school uniforms donated by Gulabi Krishna Bhandary trust, stationery donated by Manjunath Nayak Jodurasthe and the ID cards provided by alumni Sushma Hegde were distributed to students.

St Lawrence Higher Primary school retired teacher Lona Noronha, Gulabi Krishna trust trustee Anushree S Bhandary and alumni Guruarj Bhat were on the dais as guests of honour.

Primary school headmaster Pradeep Nayak welcomed and gave an introduction. High school headmistress Sr Priscilla Menezes gave details of the school activities. Kannada teacher Subrahmanya Upadhyaya compered the programme. Science teacher S Divya rendered a vote of thanks.
