Belthangady, Jun 24: The first annual training camp of 18 Kar bn NCC Army, for the academic year 2022- 23 commenced from June 23 at Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar.
While delivering the opening address, Col Nithin R Bhide, commanding officer, 18 Kar bn said that, selfless service of the defence personnel is unquestionable and the cadets must aspire to posess such fine qualities.
Fr Bazil Vas, the correspondent, Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar who was present at the ceremony expressed his happiness over providing the platform for the ATC at College and wished the Cadets good luck.
The ATC, which is scheduled for 10 days would end by July 2, 2022. Lt Col Amitabh Singh, administrative officer 18 Kar BN NCC, Raju Gurung, SM, Dr Joseph N M , principal of the College, were on the dais. The total strength of the camp is 550 with 5 NCC Officers and P I staffs.
