Bantwal: 2,060 people get benefits from Basava Vasati and Dr B R Ambedkar Vasati Yojane

Bantwal, June 24: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated a programme on Friday, June 24, on B C Road held under the auspices of various government departments to distribute various benefits to 2,060 beneficiaries of Basava Vasati and Dr B R Ambedkar Vasati Yojane for 2021-22.

He commended the service of MLA Rajesh Naik for the growth of the constituency during the last four years.

“The MLA has implemented a Rs 55 crore worth UGD project, constructed roads in the villages with Rs 1,600 package, and arranged for supply of drinking water to every house besides developing 240 places of worship. MLA Rajesh Naik has opened the first ICU unit in Bantwal government hospital,” he said.





“The government is bound to solve the issue of Kumki rights. Work on completing the four lane road on B C Road-Addahole has picked up speed. The Centre has introduced the Agnipath scheme to ease unemployment issues. The Bommai government has given green signal to construct Narayanaguru residential school at a cost of Rs 29 crore,” he said.

MLA Rajesh Naik presided over the programme. He said that land titles and title deeds under 94 and 94CC were being distributed to the beneficiaries while thanking all the government officials for their cooperation in this connection.

He said that the government had ensured that nobody died of hunger during the days of Covid-19. He sought the cooperation of all for the formation of new Bantwal.

Keonics president Harikrishna Bantwal, Bantwal tahsildar Dr Smitha Ramu, Buda president Devadas Shetty, Bantwal CDPO Gayatri Kambali and district nodal officer Savita were present.

Taluk panchayat EO Rajanna welcomed. Assistant tahsildar Navin Benjanapadav rendered a vote of thanks. Manju Vitla compered the programme.
