Udupi, June 24: "The current BJP-led government is the worst government, I have never seen such a bad government earlier. It is trying to change the history of social reformers in syllabus. Objections were raised by several prominent personalities and seers over the content. The government has insulted social reformers like Dr B R Ambedkar, Kuvempu, Basavanna, Kanakadasa and Bhagat singh. No one is thinking about getting them justice," said Dhruvanarayan, vice president, KPCC here.

Reacting to the allegation that the Congress government had made more mistakes than BJP in drafting syllabus, on Friday, June 24, Dhruvnarayan said, “If that was true, why did they not raise a questions at that time? They must have asked questions instead of talking now."

"The government is completely accountable for twisting the statement and history of reformers. What if a tutorial teacher becomes a textbook review committee member? Do they have knowledge of the issue? When so many issues are going on in the state, why should we keep quiet?," Dhuvanarayan questioned.

Gujarat is not a model state for Karnataka because the maternal mortality rate is high, illiteracy rate is low there, he retorted.

Answering questions on Operation Kamala, he said, "We never did such an operation before. This custom was started by the BJP itself. They started operations and purchased winning Congress leaders. There is an end for everything."

The BJP government follows a policy of suppressing the opposition party leaders in various ways and they aim to get rid of it from the route level .
