Kasargod: House inmates made unconscious, cash, gold looted

Kasargod, Jun 24: Thieves entered a house at Poochakkad under Bekal police station limits in the district, sprayed some chemical on the sleeping inmates of the house and decamped with 30 sovereign of gold and Rs four lac in cash.

The theft occurred at the house of Poochakkad Muneer. The thieves entered the house by breaking off the grills of window on top floor of the house. They took the golden ornaments and cash kept in the cupboard.

Muneer and other inmates of the house got up late from sleep. He used to get up at 4 am every day. But on the day of theft he got up at 8 am. It is suspected that the thieves must have used some chemical to make the family members unconscious.

Bekal police are investigating further.

    Thieves dont enter in a poor mans house.They know who has money gold etc.Looking the house one can guess.why they keep so much gold and money in house ?One who knows the situation ,way of life must have done I am sure.Sad ,They must have sprayed ether like ?gas ?whatever it is sad .a big loss.any insider put something in food so were not able ?
