Veerendra Shetty’s Magane Mahisha completes 50 days, announces new film

Mangaluru, Jun 19: Coastal wood movie ‘Magane Mahisha’ directed by Veerendra Shetty under the banner Veeru talkies celebrated its 50 days run in Bharath Mall on Sunday, June 19.

On the eve of 50 days celebration, Director Veerendra Shetty announced his third directorial Tulu movie titled ‘Sele Dugamma’.

The dignitaries celebrated 50 days of 'Magane Mahisha' movie by cutting a cake.

'Magane Mahisha’ is the second movie of Veerendra Shetty who earlier directed the blockbuster movie ‘Chaali Polilu’ that ran for 511 days at a theatre. Soon after, he made his debut as a director and actor in the Kannada film 'Savarna Dheerga Sandhi.'

Devadas Kapikad, Aravind Bolar, Naveen D Padil and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor were seen playing the lead roles in the movie, while Jyothi Rai played a prominent role.

Apart from directing the movie, Veerendra Shetty has also penned the story and dialogues, screenplay and produced the movie 'Magane Mahisha' under Veeru Talkies. Mano Murthy has composed the music for the movie, which has songs sung by Sandesh Neermarga, Prashanth Kankanady and Rakshan Madoor.

'Magane Mahisha' movie was released on April 29.

Director Veerendra Shetty, Actress Jyothi Rai, Daijiworld managing director Walter Nandalike, Actor Girish Shetty, well wisher Dr Ramachandra Rao, Prasanna Ramachandra Rao, Venkatesh Kamath, journalist Jagannath Shetty Bala, Raveendra Shetty,  music director Loy Valentine Saldanha and others were present.

Singer Bhagyaraj Shetty compered the programme.
