7 soldiers killed, 19 injured in Ladakh road accident


Srinagar, May 27 (IANS): Seven soldiers were killed in a road accident in Ladakh on Friday, defence officials said.

Defence sources said an army vehicle met with an accident in Turtuk area of Ladakh.

"Seven soldiers lost their lives in this accident. IAF is arranging rescue to shift the injured to the hospital in the Western Command," a source said.
