Sullia, May 26: Villagers caught a man who was trying to break open the offertory box of a Daivasthana in the kitchen of the same place.
Jeevan, resident of Jayanagara Ashraya colony is the accused. He was allegedly attempting to break open the offertory box of Jayanagara Sri Adi Mogerkala Daivastana in the kitchen of Daivasthana. Local residents who had gone to the holy place, heard some sound coming from the kitchen and informed the matter to the administration committee. He was caught red handed and handed over to the police. It is said that earlier also he committed the same act and was warned by public and police.
