Mangaluru: Bondel parishioners extend warm welcome to new assistant parish priest

Mangaluru, May 17: The new assistant parish priest of Bondel Church Fr Lancy D’Souza was warmly welcomed on Tuesday May 17 to St Lawrence Church, Bondel by the parish clergy and parishioners of Bondel.

He was accompanied by Fr Roque D’Sa, parish priest of Valencia, assistant parish priest (Newly ordained), Fr Vijay Monteiro, Fr Lary, assistant, St Anthony Ashram, parishioners from Valencia and family members.

The new assistant priest Fr Lancy D’Souza was cordially welcomed with a garland by the parish priest Fr Andrew Leo, St Lawrence English Medium School principal Fr Peter Gonsalves, vice president Reginald D'Souza, Steevan Noronha secretary at St Lawrence Church, Bondel.

Fr Lancy D’Souza led everyone into prayer, and Fr Lancy blessed the gathering. Fr Andrew Leo introduced Fr Lancy to the parishioners of St Lawrence and presented a bouquet as a token of love on behalf of the parishioners of Bondel along with vice president and secretary of Parish Pastoral Council.

The entire parish along with the parish clergy wished every success to Fr Lancy D'Souza.
