Sullia: Youth arrested for sexually harassing minor girl

Sullia, May 17: A youth, resident of Mandekolu was arrested by police on the accusation of sexually harassing a minor girl. A case in this regard was filed by the family members of the victim at the women police station of Puttur.

Ashwin, resident of Ambroti Kakkaje of Mandekolu, is the person arrested by the police. It is said that he got acquainted with the PU student minor girl of Sullia and developed friendship through phone.

Later, it is alleged, Ashwin enticed the young girl and sexually harassed her. The arrested accused is produced in court and is remanded to judicial custody.
