Mangaluru: Govt PHC Subcentre in association with Srinivas Hospital inaugurated

Mangaluru, May 16: A PHC subcentre at Bengre in association with Srinivas Hospital, Mukka, was inaugurated by MLA of Mangaluru city, South Vedavyas Kamath, along with Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University. The members who shared the stage included DHO of Mangaluru Dr Kishore, THO- Dr Sujay Bhandary, Dr Rajesh, mayor of Mangaluru- Premanand Shetty, MCF health officer Dr Yogesh, medical superintendent Srinivas Hospital Dr David Rosario, dean Srinivas Hospital Dr Uday Kumar and other esteemed dignitaries.

Vedavyasa Kamath, MCA of Mangaluru City South spoke on importance of health and also informed on the healthcare facilities that are available to the public. The mayor of Mangaluru city, Premanand Shetty also wished success and highlighted on various healthcare needs.

The DHO Dr Kishore spoke on the collaboration and inputs from MCF and Srinivas Hospital, Mukka. The DHO also informed the public about Dengue prevention, Control and to keep the surroundings clean and stagnant free. The Chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, addressed the gathering and emphasized on Preventive Health and also thanked MCF for providing a wonderful facility where the health needs of the patients can be met.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks and functioning of PHC Subcentre at Bengre by Srinivas Hospital, Mukka.
